Fruity Design is a fictitious online stationery shop that specializes in aesthetically pleasing supplies. Being a student for many years, I noticed the school supplies that caught my eye first were always two or three times more in price than the standard version on my list. This yearly experience was my inspiration for the concept of Fruity Design.
In my research for the Fruity Design brand, I browsed the websites of various office supply chains and did not see much variety in the aesthetic of their products. I took this as an opportunity to create the opposite and incorporate playful colors and patterns in my concept. Fruity Design’s branding guide details their values and mission, as well as the exact colors and typefaces used throughout.
To accompany Fruity Design’s branding guide and demonstrate the concept further, I created a prototype website in Adobe XD. This is to visually represent how a user would browse through products or complete a potential purchase. Creating a prototype tailored to a brands needs can be useful in presenting the vision for the brand. My solution to a gap in the office supply market was to create a brand that provides vibrant, but functional stationery.
